Lilac and Hyacinth Triangle Pattern

Two patterns with repeating triangles: white triangles on lilac, and then green and purple triangles on white.

This is my first experiment with making a pattern for sale! I learned my way around Inkscape to make this, which was pretty exciting, since it's been many years since I did vector art. Inkscape is pretty cool and easier than I expected to work with! (Though I do keep forgetting the keys and tools, but that's just a matter of time and experience.) There's a really nifty tiling tool that I used to make this; if anyone's interested I'll explain more about how to use it, though you can probably find better guides already online.

I made this back in March, beginning with the white-background pattern on the right, which was inspired by the early flowers starting to spring up with the snow still melting on the ground. It's probably daffodils that I actually saw, but hyacinths are one of my favorite flowers and I was really inspired by thinking about those lovely purples that would be showing up soon. The color scheme is also inspired by the genderqueer flag!

This is the exact same product I have for sale on Creative Fabrica here: https://www.creativefabrica.com/product/hyacinth-triangle-pattern/

You can use these for pretty much anything you like! Detailed terms are inside the attached zip file with the patterns, but you're welcome to use them personally or commercially, digitally or in print, with just a couple restrictions. Basically it's the Creative Fabrica product for free--thanks again for your support! Also, if you aren't able to edit SVGs yourself but would like this pattern in a different color scheme, just let me know!

Includes SVGs as well as print-quality image files--feel free to mess around with the SVGs in Inkscape/Illustrator/etc yourself, too! You can also make your own quick patterns by layering the white-triangles transparent PNG over anything else.

File types: PNG and JPEG for each color/size combination in 3600×3600 px, 300 dpi (6 total); PNG with white triangles and transparent background for both sizes at 3600×3600 px, 300 dpi; Standard SVG; Bonus SVG with automatic tiling (might only work in Inkscape)

This full download is only available to members of certain tiers, but PNGs of this pattern sized for desktop and mobile wallpapers are available for all paid members (at any level) at this other post.

Have fun!!
